## Our Flock - Birds We Raise
Detailed information on our mixed flocks chosen for egg production, temperament, hardiness, and utility:

- **Chickens**: Mixed flock including Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rocks, Australorps, and others. Hardy backyard layers focused on consistent egg production rather than specific breeds.
- **Ducks**: Pekin ducks and Swedish/Pekin crosses. Excellent for meat and eggs; beautiful iridescent plumage on crosses.
- **Geese**: Mixed flock of Grey and Buff Toulouse, Tufted Romans, and Pilgrims. Bred for good temperament; mischievous and engaging personalities like "feathered naughty puppies." Rule the yard.
- **Guinea Fowl**: French Guinea Fowl (heavier than standard). Excellent for natural tick and pest control; provide flavorful, lean dark meat; act as loud intruder alarms alongside geese.
